Who doesn’t want to look their very best on their big day?

Yes, we’re talking weddings, and the time it takes to prep may be longer than you might think.

You want to give your skin plenty of time to look its best on the day when all eyes are on you (and your significant other). If you wait until the week before, it’s going to be too late.

Last-minute skin treatments do not fall in the wedding prep category and, depending on your skin type; the results can be far from perfect (without the proper prep time). So if you want your skin to be picture-ready, start prepping early.

Having a skincare professional by your side, especially for big life events, saves you time, eases your stress levels, and can help you look and feel great in your skin.

It’s why we work to create customized treatments and product plans to get your skin in the best shape of its life — for one of the best days of your life.

Tips for getting your skin primed and prepped for your big day.

  • Drink plenty of water and green juices to get a natural glow.

  • Test out a practice treatment well in advance of your wedding, so you can find out the aftermath early on and pivot your treatment if necessary.

  • Whatever you do – don’t have a chemical peel done RIGHT BEFORE your wedding unless you know how your skin will react. Not all chemical peels are created equal!

  • Don’t stress if you can’t start your skincare wedding prep as early as you’d like. Remember, you’ve got this, and we’ve got you!

    • If you’re a female, choose to have a GeneO+ treatment with a Dermaplane a few days to a week before. This will remove any fine baby hairs (making way for a flawless makeup application), shrink pores size, and get a great glow in time for your nuptials.

    • If you’re a male, have a microdermabrasion treatment performed to loosen up any clogged hair follicles and smooth out skin texture.

  • If you have more time to prep your skin, we suggest the following treatments based on your skin type and the specific results you’re looking for:

    • If you have acne scars (think divets, texture issues, hyperpigmentation, etc.), microneedling would be a good choice. [Note: it takes a minimum of 4 sessions spread out every 4 weeks to get noticeable results for scarring.]

    • If you have melasma or hyper-pigmentation, a series of pigment balancing peels performed every other week will get you bright and clear skin in 6 to 8 weeks. [Note: the earlier you can start with this treatment, the better results.]

    • If you have some inches to lose, a truSculpt ID treatment to dissolve 24% in any given area in 1 treatment might be the way to ensure you look your best. Results are seen in 3 months. More than 1 session might be needed depending on your goals.

Skin is our specialty.

And figuring out how to get someone’s skin from “it could be better” to “results beyond compare” is the sweet spot where we live.

We see skin as a big puzzle that needs to be solved, and we help you figure out how to put all of the pieces together for a perfect fit.

By blending the world of esthetics with medical, we’re able to get you real results in real-time and make the world of skincare easy to understand.

We tend to think life is complicated enough on its own, and we don’t think your skincare regimen has to be. So we’re working to create a better world of skincare for you.
